Collaboration with members

Our goal is to help our clients comply successfully with regulatory requirements in relation to food chain safety, with minimum cost and maximum speed.Hence we offer strategic advice on how to comply with legislation, and help clients manage feed additive dossier projects for EU approvals.

The federation represents consultants with experience in a number of industries related to the food chain, for example feed, feed and food additives and veterinary pharmaceutical products.

Representation

EFFSACO will participate actively in dialogues with relevant EU regulatory bodies and related organisations, representing the views of its members and the broad interests of EFFSACO's stakeholders.

Guidelines

Conditions & terms

1. Person becoming member of EFFSACO:
  • Should have experience in EU application dossiers regarding feed and/or food additives.
  • Should be proprietor of his/her company for at least 3 years or be employed by such a company or be a partner of such a company for at least 3 years.
  • Should have a minimum of 2 clients.
2- Members of EFFSACO:
  • Are not to use EFFSACO as a platform for the marketing of their own products/company, and hence may lose their membership, as agreed by the board of directors.
  • Are not to represent EFFSACO at public events without prior consent of the board of directors.
  • Are to respect each other's clients and cannot use EFFSACO to undermine one of its members.
  • Who passes on a project to another member will receive a 10% commission of that member, receiving the project, for a period of 6 months.
3- Membership fees:
  • Members who quit EFFSACO will give notice in writing at least 3 months before the date of quitting (except for reasons beyond their control). Their fee will be retained for that year by EFFSACO.
